1 Corvette C8 available in Abu Dhabi, from $ 218/day up to $ 218/day.

For visitors holding a driving licence issued in 🇬🇧 United Kingdom, an international driving permit (IDP) is not required in Abu Dhabi or elsewhere in the UAE. If in doubt, see the full list.

In Dubai, as across the United Arab Emirates, on public roads, drift/drifting, intentional wheelspin (burnout), donuts, street racing, and hard standing starts (launch control) are prohibited and may lead to fines, black points, and vehicle impoundment. These practices are neither allowed by rental terms nor covered by insurance.

Supercars in Dubai: DZ tips for smooth driving

  1. 1High speed bumps: approach diagonally to protect the splitter, and activate front lift before the obstacle if the car is equipped.
  2. 2Parking ramps (malls/hotels): anticipate the approach angle, drive very slowly, and avoid braking at the breakover point.
  3. 3Curbs and sidewalks: never hug the curb to reduce risk to wheels and low-profile tires.
  4. 4Sand on the road: grip drops quickly, especially in turns and when moving off; drive with smooth inputs.
  5. 5High heat: on very hot asphalt, the car can feel more reactive and less tolerant of abrupt inputs; increase following distance and brake earlier.
  6. 6Valet parking (hotels/malls): activate valet mode if available and mention that the front is very low so ramps are taken gently.
